Randomization Word Technique
For this practice, since Mr.Radzi mentioned that during the class we need to create “scary images or object” that will instill fear among people throughout the ages.
Beside our random word is Kitten. So according to the randomization word, I tried to find 4 more words from kitten and those words are: Eye, Claw, Tale and Tooth.
Eye Kitten
Eye…hmmm. We can do lots of things with eyes folks. Just see my drawing.
Claw Kitten
I tried to exaggerate the claws because it has very strong effect for scaring people or even alien.
Tale Kitten
I’ve just thought that the best way t shows the kitten’s tale is to make longer and longer and longer, so it can frighten others.
Tooth Kitten
Well I thought that one of the best things that I can use to scare others is cat’s tooth.
Randomization Word Technique
Sign Cigarette
For the sign the best thing that I feel that it has enough effect on the smoker is just to write a simple sentence on it and that sentence is going to be: Smoking CAN hurt your KID.
Color Cigarette
In this case I feel that it’s much better to show the cigarette so normal as it is, but as soon as the smoker turn it on, it will change its color to yellow.
Metal Cigarette
Here I tried to show metallic cigarette. As you can see at the end of this cigarette is different than others so the Smoker won’t feel comfortable anymore.
Dirty Cigarette
As soon as everyone who wants to smoke this kind of cigarette something will be happen, and that thing is the cigarette instead of smoke is going to melt down some slimy green water which is too smelly.
Randomization Word Technique
Randomization word technique it’s a kind of style that we can use to solve our problem and also at the same time it helps us to avoid from being stereotype. As I understood during the class for using this technique we should choose a word (any word that comes to our mind first) then we can use from that word to explain and solve our problem, like an example that we did in the class : how can we avoid from smoking. The first word that comes was street light. Street light has 4 different personalities like dirty, metal, sign and danger. The point is we should connect each of them to cigarette like if you want to connect dirty to cigarette, you should show cigarette as yucky as you can. Moreover, don’t forget to draw it too.
So basically that’s the whole process of Randomization word technique. For the next step I want to show you how to use with different words to solve different problem.
